In the bag industry, 600D Polyester and 420D Polyester are most popular, the "D" is the word"denier", in simpler terms, it means that a higher denier fabric is stronger and more durable than the same type of fabric with a lower denier rating, that is the 600D polyester will be stronger and more durable than the 420D polyester.

However, when comparing two different types of fabrics, such as polyester and nylon, I am sorry the different fabric, they could not compared, as they have the different weight and function.
